All AVHRR data displayed here are acquired via the Comprehensive Large Array-data Stewardship System (CLASS) (www.class.noaa.gov).

Funding for this project is from NOAA/NESDIS/STAR (http://www.orbit.nesdis.noaa.gov/star/index.php).

This effort is also funded by the NOAA/NESDIS Integrated Program Office (IPO) with the goal of developing mechanisms for expanding the usage of NPOESS/VIIRS imagery by the general public

Satellite data has been calibrated and converted into radiances and temperatures by Andrew Heidinger with The Clouds from AVHRR Extended (CLAVR-x) and the AVHRR Pathfinder Atmospheres - Extended (PATMOS-x) projects (http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu/clavr/) funded by NOAA/NESDIS.

Website design and implementation is by Bill Bellon (SSEC).
